Terms and Conditions for Vehicle Rentals

1. General Terms and Requirements

• Driver’s Age:
  • Cars: Minimum 23 years , with a maximum age of 76.
  • Supplements:
    • Young Driver: €10/day for drivers 21–22 years.
    • Senior Driver: €15/day for drivers 72–76 years old.
• Driver’s License:
  • International or national license held for at least one year is required.
• Minimum Rental Period:
  • One day (up to 19:00). Extra hours are charged at €10/hour.
• Traffic Fines:
  • All traffic fines and related administration fees (€25) are the renter’s responsibility.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • By Guest: Last-minute cancellations incur a €30 fee.
  • By Company: Reservations may be canceled due to exceptional circumstances, with at least 20 days’ notice.

2. Insurance and Liability

• Excess Liability:
  • Cars:
    • Full Collision Damage Waiver (F.D.W) available at €15/day, limiting liability to €150 (excluding tires, mirrors, and undercarriage).
    • Without F.D.W: Pre-authorization of €1500 required and full liability for damages applies.
• Optional Insurance:
  • Cars: Includes F.D.W for €15/day, excluding specified parts.
• Damage Administration Fee:
  • €90 fee applies regardless of circumstances.
• Insurance Exclusions:
  • Damage due to negligence, off-road driving, parked vehicle incidents, or unauthorized drivers.
  • Tires, mirrors, and undercarriage damages are not covered.

3. Payment and Deposit

• Security Deposit:
  • A pre-authorization equal to the applicable excess amount (€500–€1500) will be required.
• Accepted Payment Methods:
  • Major credit cards (Visa or Mastercard). Prepaid cards, American Express, rechargeable, or virtual cards are not accepted.

4. Fuel Policy

• Fuel Level:
  • Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as provided.
  • Refueling fee: €20 plus fuel cost for shortages. No refunds for excess fuel.

5. Additional Fees and Services

• Extra Services:
  • Baby Seat: €6/day.
  • Navigation System: €7/day.
  • Additional Driver: €5/day.
• After-Hours Service:
  • Deliveries/collections between 21:00–07:30 incur a €35 charge.

6. Vehicle Use and Maintenance

• Usage Restrictions:
  • Ferrying vehicles requires authorization (€20/day).
  • Vehicles must be driven on tarmac (asphalt) roads only.
• Cleanliness:
  • A €30 fee applies for unclean vehicles upon return.

7. Accidents and Damage

• Accident Reporting:
  • All accidents or damages must be reported immediately. Completion of a damage report is mandatory for insurance coverage.
• Parked Vehicle Damage:
  • The renter is liable for damages incurred while the vehicle is parked.

8. Special Offers

• Collection by 19:00 on the last day. Late returns are charged €10/hour.
• If the reserved vehicle is unavailable, a similar or higher-category vehicle will be provided at no extra cost.
